Here’s how it works:

Day 1: A new patient evaluation is conducted. A medical history and physical are performed, along with an EKG and lab work. You are also given new MRIs and/or X-rays if needed.
Day 2: A surgeon talks to you about your MRI, and diagnostic tests are run of needed.
Day 3: After a discussion about the local anesthetic and IV sedative that will be administered to you, the surgery is performed, and you are released to recover at home or your hotel.
Day 4: You return to LSI for a post-operative check-up and your physical therapy starts.
Day 5: You receive a second session of physical therapy and are then discharged to go home.
