Lower Back Pain Causes Can Often Be Eliminated at Laser Spine Institute

Lower Back Pain Causes Can Often Be Eliminated at Laser Spine Institute

You may not know what causes your lower back pain, but you’re sure that you want it to go away. We may be able to help with that at LSI. We treat a number of conditions that cause pain in the lower back, also known as the lumbar region. Our endoscopic treatments are highly successful and are best suited for patients who have had a proper diagnosis and have attempted a variety of more conservative treatments under the guidance of a physician. Those treatments may have included physical therapy, spinal decompression, stretching, hot & cold compresses, over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medications and pain killers, braces, chiropractic visits, and steroidal spine injections.

These methods work well for many people, but if they haven’t worked for you it may mean you have an advanced case of any number of conditions including:

  • Herniated disc
  • Spinal stenosis
  • Spondylolisthesis

We treat all of these conditions at the Laser Spine Institute using advanced techniques that treat the root cause of the condition while causing minimal trauma to the surrounding tissue. We do this by operating on the back through a narrow tube with small tools including a camera which allows the surgeon to view the spine. This requires only a small incision during an outpatient procedure that lasts about an hour. Because the incision is minimal and the procedure doesn’t require a hospital stay, the risk of infection is much lower than traditional back surgery and recovery is much shorter and less painful.

If you’d like to learn more about how we can use this type of surgery to eliminate the condition that causes your lower back pain, contact us today. We’ll review your MRI or CT scan for free to determine whether we can help you.
